Hello all,
The PVRC 'Galactic Pig Fest' will be held on Sept 21 at the NR4M 'Goat Farm' contest station in Locust Grove, VA.  Sponsored by the Rappahannock Chapter of PVRC.   The 'Goat Farm' is located SW of Fredericksburg, VA.  - It is now less than 2 weeks away! -

About 80 people have RSVP'd, so far!  Do not be left out of this once-a-year event!

Mike, N4GU, one of our PVRC VP's, will be giving a presentation on antenna modeling using EZNEC.  This should be of interest to everyone.
There is no conflict with any major contests or religious holidays, so expect there will be a large turnout.   BEGINS  AT NOON. Food served @ 12:30-ish.

Everyone should bring a chair.  Will be held rain or shine, as event will be inside a LARGE, air conditioned garage.
The menu is not finalized, but is expected to be:

    Pulled pork

    Dry rubbed ribs (NR4M recipe) and Cherry-Chipotle glazed ribs, burgers and brats.  If you have special dietary requirements, please let me  know.

    Everyone is encouraged to bring a side dish to share.  In the past, we've had 18 feet of table covered with delicious food.

    Beer, water and soft drinks of all kinds with be available.

The cost of event is $5 per person, which covers all the food and drink a person may want.  This is really a token amount and allows me to better gauge how many people will be attending and how much food to purchase.
