Hello all,

Thanks for making the Galactic Pig Fest a successful event for the second year. (I could say second year in a row' but it's only the second year PERIOD.)

Although threatening a week ago, fortunate for everyone, the weather had no real impact on this event. We were lucky here in VA; please keep those who may be facing hardships, in your thoughts and prayers.

Thanks, to Frank, W3LPL, for his presentation on receiving antennas. I don't know of a ontester that doesn't want the best receiving antenna he can afford, or fit on his property.
Thanks to all who brought side dishes to share. I didn't get to taste them all, but enjoyed the 'asian pickle slice' thingy. Also, the brownies in the 8 x 8 alum pan. There were 4 left and I ate two yesterday AM with my coffee and the last two this AM with my coffee.

They were gooood!

I think the spicy sausages (Steve, N4DXS) were my favorite by a wee margin over my ribs and Dick's (W6LWG) pulled pork.

Thanks to W4JAM for the donation of the 7? folding chairs. Will be a help the next time we do one of these things.

BIG thanks to Dan, W0CN, for dealing with the RSVP's and $$. He supplied me with a detailed list at least weekly.

And, thanks to Larry, Dick and Mila for cooking the burgers and sausages on Saturday. Dick's big oil tank cooker is known as 'The (P)tomaine Tub', but it's just a name...
We had 60+ people in attendance, so it was a good turn out.

My thanks to my wife, Carolyn, for putting up with me.

And, thanks to everyone for NOT feeding Lucy, the dog. It's great to own a dog that doesn't know to beg food.

There were a handful of people who wanted to be with us, but were, for various reasons, a bit under the weather. I hope they feel better soon.

73 de Steve, NR4M and the whole Goat Farm team.
